Please support Sage Sips on Ko-Fi: Here’s why
A portion of the proceeds are “brewed forward” to a public service organization each month. I rotate which organization gets the (small, token) donation each month hoping to give as wide, inclusive and diverse help to the helpers.
The more you support, the more I can give.
In October, the brew was forwarded to Freedom From Religion Foundation for their work bringing legal protections for First Amendment freedoms like separation of church and state, which in my mind protects our little blog from the threat of censorship from the Christian Nationalists who have attempted to grab power here in the U.S.
November has the Thanksgiving holiday here. Food security is a big focus so I was considering the KDKA Turkey Fund, our community food bank or revisiting World Central Kitchen, but I’ve decided for something a little more personal.
I am so very thankful to Hugh Lane Wellness for the help they have given to people who mean as much to me as the air that I breath.
I’ve witnessed the work they do. I’ve seen them in action and it is all they say and more.
Help me help them to help bring health and support and joy to our neighbors, friends and family.
In November 2026, one dollar from every virtual coffee and $2 from every Sage Sips “Bottomless Cup” membership on Ko-Fi will be donated to the Hugh Lane Wellness foundation.
Remaining proceeds will used to keep Sage Sips free for everyone, with no ads or paywalls.
