The elves are busy, but not panicked. The squirrels are taking it easy – kicking back munching nuts and drinking spiked eggnog, apparently. I’m going to take the opportunity to spend some quality time with the fam, the kitchen, the knitting needles and an actual library book.
I can slide an email Tarot reading into that scenario pretty easily. Email readings are my happy place, my specialty, my niche and my strong suit in the world of Tarot. Come in to that coziness and read a reading. No appointment needed for this kind of Tarot – order anytime HERE.
I’m @sagewordstarot on Threads, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr and TikTok. Threads and Instagram are my favorites, so if you want to say hi that’s the best social media place to find me and have actual conversation. The socials might be sporadically quiet, but stay tuned here on the main blog. I have some new posts planned for the blurry-time between now and New Year.
Next up, however, is a Learn With Me: Lenormand tomorrow. See you then!
Party Tarot is pretty much closed for good except for very local, case by case special appearances. In-person individual readings and live online readings are closed until January 2024. In person will resume in January and be available by appointment on Mondays. Live online/phone readings return in January by appointment.
E-mail Tarot is ALWAYS OPEN. Order anytime 24/7. Delivery times are usually within 24 hours but may vary if you place your order nights, weekends or holidays (US eastern time)
Sallie Christensen, author of “The Highest and Best” and gifted psychic (I had my very first in-person reading as a client with her) we were chatting about journaling and manifestation, when she advised “A thought is powerful, the spoken word is more powerful, but the written word is most powerful of all.”
Ask anyone who works with sigils regularly – I’m sure they would agree.
That is why I started doing handwritten, hand illustrated Tarot readings sent by snail mail.
The handful I did received great reviews. My favorite feedback was that the feel of the paper, and the smell of the hand dipped or fountain pen ink gave it the feel of reading a good book.
That’s what I’m aiming for with both the physical “InkMagick” readings and the email readings. I love a good book. I would like nothing better than do readings for readers. Be a reader for readers. InkMagick really is a reader’s reading.
I’m not claiming to have fantastic calligraphy or art skills. The skill is in the Tarot interpretation. The power is in the sigil-like illustrations and in the written word.
What do you think?
Maybe a seasons of the year layout would be the best place to start.
Does a reading like this interest you? Would you like a little touch of arcane magick in your coming year? Please leave a comment and let me know, send an email, find me on Instagram or Threads (@sagewordstarot) or use the “Ask Me Anything” page contact form.
Free Tarot (or oracle) content on Sage Sips is fueled by paid subscriptions, private Tarot reading purchases, virtual coffee and sips of literal coffee. Please support this free blog – and let me know in the comments if you are interested in an audio version (Sage Sips podcast)

Just getting my ducks in a row. Check it out before they move again, the little anarchists.
It’s been said that writing is as much for the writer as the reader. That’s certainly the case for this post. It’s mostly to help me get my proverbial ducks in a row with some links in case you are interested. Just keep in mind, my ducks are anarchist little bastiges that don’t stay lined up for long.

Summer hours don’t matter: you can order Distance Tarot by email (my specialty!) any time 24/7/365 on TaoCraftTarot.com. Expect 2-3 day delivery for orders placed nights (eastern US) weekends, US holidays or announced in-person closures. Orders placed on a routine work day deliver to your email within 8-12 hours in most cases.
Ebooks have moved from Etsy to ko-fi and are now “pay what you want” with a small minimum.
Email readings are on ko-fi too under the “open commissions” tab. Moving a few things from one shop to the other saves listing costs and helps me keep prices stable and low as possible.
Small group Natural Health workshops are available by special arrangement. Please contact me for details.
Thursdays and Sundays are down time for the blogcast and social media, give or take a little.
In-person Tarot will be closed April 28 – May 2, May 12 – May 17, June 22 – June 27. Stay tuned for other updates, and remember email Tarot is ALWAYS open to order, with some fluctuations in delivery times.
This is why the podcast is going cyberpunk. Put so much time into doing a self-narrated podcast that I need to skip this week’s Sunday Tarot Turnover.
Instead, I give you….Confession #9, Sipping the Right Stuff.
Transcript:
I’m a clairvoyant and I have a confession: my stuff ain’t right
Hi everyone. My name is Ronda. I read tarot, write stuff and make things.
The idea of “pushing the envelope” was made popular by Tom Wolfe’s book The Right Stuff and the movie by the same name back in the 80s. It’s still part of the American vernacular. We’ve all heard of pushing the envelope, although it has come to mean challenging ourselves and stepping outside of our individual comfort zone rather than putting lives on the line to test the physical limits of a new aircraft.
In the movie Dennis Quaid as Gordon Cooper talks about the pilots still “out there somewhere…pushing back the outside of that envelope and hauling it back in.”
Everybody loves to talk about pushing the envelope. Nobody ever seems to talk about hauling it back in.
That’s an important part too. As I understand it a SUCCESSFUL test program is one that ends with a live pilot, an intact airplane and usable data, not a hollywood style fireball.
Which in a way, begs the question of how you define success? Success isn’t always expansive. Sometimes quality really is more important than quantity.
Which brings me back to the stuff I’m putting into this podcast. I’m not so sure it has been the right stuff.
It’s been a stretch. Starting a podcast at all was way outside of my comfort envelope. A rambling pirate radio persona like the movie Pump Up The Volume was more fun in theory than in practice. It pushed the envelope to give Clairvoyant Confessional a try. But it is time to haul the envelope back in. I’m not pulling the plug on the podcast, but I am making a change in style and aesthetics.
One thing I’ve learned from this test flight is that podcasts are valuable and fun BUT it really is about the conversation and chemistry like we had on Menage a Tarot, which, btw, is still available on itunes if you’d like to give it a listen.
I still want to offer something to the podcasting environment for anyone who is interested in Tarot and Tarot readings. BUT I also learned that vocal performance is not my strong suit. So here is the deal: the pirates and test pilots are going cyberpunk.
Thanks to the brilliant text to speech conversion available through wordpress and anchor fm for better or worse I’m letting technology take over the narration.
Clairvoyant Confessional is now the TaoCraft Tarot podcast and serves as the audio edition of the TaoCraft Tarot blog.
By letting Siri’s second cousin Remy take over the speaking part, I can put my energy into the writing part so I can give all of you the best of me and my actual clairvoyance.
Thank you for listening to Clairvoyant Confessional and its new incarnation as TaoCraft Tarot podcast. I hope you’ll stay tuned for the short sip nano-episodes that give you Tarot guidance for your day in the time it takes to sip from your morning coffee as well as the slightly longer episodes like the YouChoose Interactive readings.
As always, thank you for any likes, subs, shares, or follows that you can spare. As always, helpful links are in the episode description.
Also a special thank you to dinosoul for giving permission to use their song dimension as an outro for the past several confessional episodes.
Thanks again for listening. I’ll see you on the print side and see you at the next sip.
