Yesterday afternoon was weird.

The off-line real world was demanding attention like the “ease off the woo woo post” from yesterday morning – on steroids.

It’s going to be a busy long weekend. Some really great stuff, some pain in the tuchus stuff.

Email Tarot is still wide open though. Order all you want. This is the part the ducks were talking about where delivery times will slow way down for a few days. Fulfillment for any readings ordered now through Sunday.

In-person readings are open but scheduling and email replies are going to be slow, too. No in-person appointments are available until week of May 23 anyway. If you don’t want to wait for in-person, even without this weekend, email is a TON faster, gives you the same information and has more layout options.

The weekend Tarot Turnover intuition exercise for Tarot Table members will be delayed a day until Monday.

We’ve had several covid call offs at the day job, so I’m honestly not sure when the next short sip will be.

It’s been said that writing is as much for the writer as the reader. That’s certainly the case for this post. It’s mostly to help me get my proverbial ducks in a row with some links in case you are interested. Just keep in mind, my ducks are anarchist little bastiges that don’t stay lined up for long.

Summer hours don’t matter: you can order Distance Tarot by email (my specialty!) any time 24/7/365 on TaoCraftTarot.com. Expect 2-3 day delivery for orders placed nights (eastern US) weekends, US holidays or announced in-person closures. Orders placed on a routine work day deliver to your email within 8-12 hours in most cases.
In-person individual and party Tarot are both OPEN but with a reduced schedule and service area compared to the pre-pandemic before times.
Memberships are OPEN. Members get exclusive content and members-only special offers. Please visit the TaoCraft Tarot ko-fi page for details.
Ebooks have moved from Etsy to ko-fi and are now “pay what you want” with a small minimum.
Email readings are on ko-fi too under the “open commissions” tab. Moving a few things from one shop to the other saves listing costs and helps me keep prices stable and low as possible.
Mala and jewelry will stay in the Etsy shop.
Natural Health online tutorials are OPEN by video call only. In-person Natural health for individuals remains closed.
Small group Natural Health workshops are available by special arrangement. Please contact me for details.
Thursdays and Sundays are down time for the blogcast and social media, give or take a little.

spring/summer 2022 schecule, announcements and MSTBT (meat space throw back Thursdays)

Spring and summer are starting to take shape.

It is looking like Thursdays and Sundays are the days where meatspace has my attention and the blog/socials will be mostly if not totally quiet. When time allows, I’d like to do MSTBT…MeatSpaceThrowBackThursdays. I’ll pull something out of the TaoCraft archives to post here on the blog. Modern Oracle archives are going to close on April 30. That’s the plan, anyway, but you know how THOSE go around here.

The podcast definitely won’t be happening Thursdays and Sundays unless it is some sort of extra special bonus episode.

That being said:

EMAIL READINGS NEVER CLOSE! Order 24/7/365 no appointment needed. Delivery times are less than 12 hours on a typical business day, but may take a few days if you order during nights, weekends, US holidays, or announced vacations etc.

The OLD Etsy shop never closes! Meditation beads and bead jewelry designed and handmade by me is still there and will be for the foreseeable future.

Scheduling by email never closes! In-person Tarot for both individual and parties require advance appointments (sorry – no same day appointments) BUT you can schedule any time by sending an email to TaoCraftTarot@gmail.com

The phone number never answers! Due to changes in the voip service I use, the phone number on the contact page only accepts voicemail and text messages. If you schedule an in-person reading or party, I will provide a number where you can call me the day of the appointment if needed. Call it more cost cutting so I don’t have to raise prices.

In-person readings are back for April. New members only content coming in April too

All proceeds from the sale of PeaceTarot ebook in the ko-fi shop during 2022 will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.

I know you are probably sick of my saying it, but the blog and podcast are really not monetized and actually depend on your support. Individual readings purchased through this website and Tarot Table memberships contribute toward creating free Tarot content like the (almost) daily Short Sip Tarot and the TaoCraft Tarot YouTube channel. I expect to pull all of that stuff together in a few weeks with a little something for Halloween, to celebrate the third anniversary of TaoCraft Tarot’s grand opening.

I’d like to announce -it’s October.

I’m saving the best – or what I think is the best – tidbit for Halloween. But for now, here is a few other era-of-the-equinox, slow-roll-out things I’d like to share.

This month is the third anniversary of re-branding from Modern Oracle to TaoCraft Tarot. It seems to be the time of year to rename things. October always has been a magickal, creative, energetic time of year here. Over time I’ve learned not to question why, but just roll with it. It is a good time of year for things to change: leaves, postings, podcasts – you name it.

Three things:

The “Today’s Tarot” short format daily one card readings are re-titled “A Sip of Tarot” because that is about all they are, a little sip of tea (or coffee) sized touch of Tarot to start your day.

I’m spilling that tea (or coffee) all over the place. After being on Menage A Tarot with David and Kate, following a variety of podcasts over the past couple of years (Ninth World Journal is still top of my list) and creating Clairvoyant Confessional solo – I’ve come to appreciate audio communication more than ever before. “A Sip of Tarot” will be here on the blog, on YouTube Shorts, on the Clarivoyant Confessional podcast, and on the ko-fi public blog.

Speaking of ko-fi, THAT is the biggie announcement for tonight. “A Seat at the Tarot Table” Memebership is now open. Members on Ko-fi get a “seat at the tarot table” which includes a members-only monthly tarot reading (similar to the year-ahead layout only focused on a single month) AND a private year-ahead reading by email at no extra charge when you join. I’ve packed up all the cutesy pants special offers and moved them over there. From now on any special offers and giveaways are off of social medial and only on the tarot table in ko-fi memeberships.

Starting next week, in-person readings for individuals and bring-a-friend readings are back on a reduced summer schedule. Readings are weekday mornings and afternoons, with some limited evenings and Saturdays by special arrangement. Please ask for details. More HERE
